How will we ensure our staff will not expose you or your pet to COVID-19?

With COVID-19 starting to appear in our rear view mirror, we have to make sure it stays there. Here at RSVH we will be doing our part. Most of our staff is fully vaccinated or awaiting their second shot of their chosen vaccine. However, we are not done there. We will still continue many of the protocols established during quarantine such as:

  • All staff will be wearing masks at all times to adhere to CDC guidelines
  • Any staff experiencing any COVID-19 like symptoms will immediately report them to management and a test will be administered
  • Any staff member dealing with a client or pet will thoroughly disinfect afterwards
  • ONLY designated team members will meet directly with our clients

Also what will be the daily steps taken to ensure the staff is healthy?

Once we reopen, the best way we can all stay healthy is be adhering to the CDC recommended protocols in addition to our own. Here are the daily steps we will undertake to ensure our staff remains healthy so we can continue to provide the very best pet care possible for your pets. These steps are:

  • All staff will have their temperature checked before they enter the building and any staff members who have a high enough temperature will be sent home
  • The clinic will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at the start and end of the work day and during the lunch break (1-2 PM)
  • After seeing a client and/or their pet, staff members will clean/disinfect themselves as needed
