This is our worst case scenario. In the event of a COVID-19 outbreak our protocol states:

• The public will be notified via all of our communication channels
• The building itself will be lockdown and return to our pandemic policy (in-client visits will stop and only pets and RSVH staff will be allowed in the building)
• Every RSVH staff member will be administered a COVID-19 test (all staff members will continue to keep working as long they're not showing any symptoms [refer to the note below for doctors and senior staff])
  • NOTE: Critical workers, like veterinarians and their staff, can be permitted to continue to work following a potential exposure to COVID-19, provided they remain asymptomatic and additional precautions are implemented to protect them and the workplace.
• All exposed/infected staff members will be sent home and begin a 14-day quarantine
• In the event that a majority of staff tests positive, RSVH staff will be in quarantine and RSVH will be closed until we can operate at a safe and optimal capacity
