Dr. Aiden Kang, DVM, MS
Education: Seoul National University College of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Kang was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to
the United States in 2006 to seek change and a better opportunity to
serve. He graduated from Seoul National University College of
Veterinary Medicine, of Seoul, Korea in 2000. He majored in veterinary
internal medicine and dermatology in graduate school, thus earning his
master’s degree. He worked as an internal medicine/dermatology
specialist and as a general practitioner in big and small practices in
order to obtain a wider range of experience. Dr. Kang also gained
valuable critical care and emergency experience after transferring to
the biggest referral practice in all of Korea. He began working at a
private practice then continued his work at a 24 hour emergency
practice for more than 2 years before he began to work at Rancho
Sequoia Veterinary Hospital. He owns two cats, Tori and Zorro. They
are rescues. He’s dying to get dogs too in the near future.
Crystal Ramirez: Certified Veterinary Technician
Crystal is a proud advocate of the ASPCA and strong supporter of
animal rights. Crystal volunteered at a small dog rescue for 3 years
where she received recognition for her hard work and determination
to give dogs a second chance in life. She hopes to become a vet, too.
Emily Walker: Customer care coordinator, office manager
Emily studied marketing and communications at California Lutheran University and has over ten years of marketing and administrative experience. She has had a variety of pets throughout her life and currently has three dogs, Bette, Cassie, and Hazel, and looks after her collection of fresh and salt water fishes. Emily also farms Tilapia in her backyard and grows 100% organic fruit and vegetables. When she's not working or keeping up with a busy household, she can be found riding her scooter, hiking with her dogs, or working on one of her many DIY projects. Emily is honored to work for Rancho Sequoia Veterinary Hospital and is proud to provide the love, care, and respect your pet deserves.
Christopher Romero: Receptionist, Kennel assistant
I am currently working on obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, while awaiting acceptance into the Nursing Program at CSU Channel Islands. In my down time, I write and volunteer for the non-profit Strong Villages, which provides dental care for indigenous cultures around the world. I enjoy most outdoor activities and have a passion for caring for others, including our animal counterparts. Although, my initial passion was not in animal care, I have found a deep interest in my work here and hope my professional as well as life experience’s have prepared me to exceed our Clients and patients expectations.
